Cardinal Turkson: How Young People Can Build Justice and Peace

Philip de Mahy, my colleague at the Institute for Policy Research & Catholics Studies, and I had the opportunity to interview Cardinal Peter Turkson, President of the Pontifical Council for Justice and Peace, during his recent trip to Washington DC.  Here Cardinal Turkson responds to the question of what young people in the United States can do to advance the cause of justice in the world and help to build real, durable peace.  Cardinal Turkson emphasizes the need to educate others on Catholic Social Teaching, the Church’s hidden treasure.
