Breaking News: Bomb found at shrine where Francis will visit

Very disturbing news out of Brazil tonight. According to Brazilian police, a homemade bomb was found at the Aparecida Shrine, where Pope Francis will visit on Wednesday. Please pray for the safety of the Holy Father and the pilgrims at World Youth Day in Rio. Please pray for peace throughout the world.

Breaking News: Francis fires Vatican Bank Director, begins organizational overhaul

Pope Francis is mad as hell, and he isn’t going to take it anymore. After another Vatican Bank scandal emerged over the weekend with the arrest of an Italian bishop with close ties to the bank, Francis fired the bank’s top two managing officials, Paolo Cipriani, and his deputy, Massimo Tulli.
