Senator Chris Murphy of Connecticut spoke to civic and faith leaders at the Center for Christianity and Public Life’s inaugural summit, For the Good of the Public, on the spiritual crisis facing Americans, with so many experiencing angst, addiction, isolation, and a lack of purpose and meaning.  He calls for a renewal of policies and institutions that are oriented toward the common good and that help us to grow our social connections.
