Millennial co-founder and contributing editor Christopher Hale is quoted in a new article on CNN on Pope Francis and President Obama:
“If I was advising President Obama, I would say the No. 1 spokesperson on American immigration reform should be Pope Francis,” Hale said. “He has so much capital in this city. You have Catholics, Jews and atheists on the Hill quoting him.”
He wrote at greater length on the subject in a new article in Time:
Much like he used the pope’s words to successfully frame the income inequality debate last December, President Obama should again go back to Francis to restart the immigration reform debate in Washington.
