Millennial’s Michael Jordan Laskey Appointed Vice Chancellor for the City of Camden

News on Millennial writer Mike Jordan Laskey via the Diocese of Camden:

Bishop Dennis Sullivan has appointed Michael Jordan Laskey as vice chancellor for the City of Camden.

Laskey, currently director for the Office of Life and Justice, the diocesan office which addresses pro-life and social justice concerns, will continue to serve in that position.

In the newly-created vice chancellor position, Laskey will be responsible for presenting the Church’s voice in the civic conversations shaping the future direction of the City of Camden, where the diocesan cathedral and administrative offices are located. In announcing the appointment, Bishop Sullivan noted Laskey’s ability to make connections with individuals and community organizations concerned about Camden.

Laskey will serve as Bishop Sullivan’s personal representative to pastors, parishes, community organizations and government agencies in Camden so that the diocese may be aware of and involved in the decisions that impact the city and its people, especially those whose voices are often not heard.
